Alcoholic strength: 13,5% | Maturation: After final fermentation, maturation in used French (75%) and American (25%) oak barrels took place for a period of 12 months. The final blend was made after a careful selection process, and numerous tests and analysis during this period. In order to preserve the highest possible quality, the wine only underwent a light filtration prior to bottling. As it was not subject to cold stabilisation treatment, a natural deposit may form in the bottle over time |

Tasting Notes - Aroma: This wine has an intense and complex aroma with floral notes, tropical fruit, black and red fruit, spices and a minerality that contains hints of wet shale. Wood of great quality is well-integrated and contributes to the aromatic complexity | Tasting Notes - Palate: On the palate, it has good volume, with excellent, rounded tannins and a fantastic acidity. Further aromas of red and tropical fruit come to the fore, along with floral notes and hints of cocoa, courtesy of an excellent maturation. This wine has a long and elegant finish |
Vintage / Winemaking: Vinified at the Quinta da Leda winery from grapes selected from plots located within Qta da Leda itself and from nearby vineyards. Resulting from a favourable vegetable cycle, grapes with a balanced maturation were chosen. After destemming and soft crushing, the grapes were transferred to stainless steel tanks and/or lagares, where prolonged maceration took place. Using the available technology, the constituent quality present in the skins of the mature grapes passed smoothly to the wine |
