Keeping alive the family tradition and the acquired knowledge of several generations in the production of grapes and fine wines at the estate of “Quinta de Golães”, Valados de Melgaço offers exceptional wines made from old and new vines. Our aim is to elevate Alvarinho, our grape variety of choice, to its maximum exponent.
Currently, we deliver our products under two different brands: Valados de Melgaço and Quinta de Golães. We produce elegant and balanced wines, with personality, which reveal the magic of the Alvarinho variety and the Monção and Melgaço terroir.
