Adega Cooperativa dos Biscoitos
The Adega Cooperativa dos Biscoitos was founded in 1999, in the Parish of Biscoitos, on Terceira Island, Azores. In the 16th century, the Biscoitos wine assumed a remarkable importance when supplying the Caravelas of the Indian and Spice routes. Among the products supplied to the naval supply was the verdelho wine.
