Monte dos Perdigões

Property of the Granadeiro family since 2001, Monte dos Perdigões is located in the vast and intriguing Alentejo, in sight of Reguengos de Monsaraz. It was once home to Damião de Góis, Portuguese humanist of the 16th century and later to the distinguished conductor and composer Luís de Freitas Branco, who composed here some of his most outstanding works.
It’s a place where artistic sensibility goes hand in hand with freedom of ideas and workmanship. It’s also the place where the Monte dos Perdigões Cellar was born, among vineyards that regrow year after year, in a fusion between the past and the future, where noble materials such as Alentejo marble and French oak stand out. It’s the place where all Monte dos Perdigões wines are vinified and bottled, under the strict control of an inspired, dedicated technical team and a huge respect for Mother Nature.
