Tone: A wine with an intense aroma | Tasting Notes - Aroma: A blend of aromas that is, on one hand, remarkably fruity yet, on the other, shrubby |
Tasting Notes - Palate: On the palate, it has very well-integrated tannins and a good acidity that result in an incredibly appetising wine | Vintage / Winemaking: Vinified from selected grapes from plots of Alicante Bouschet, Touriga Nacional and Syrah. The grapes were harvested at the optimum point of phenolic/aromatic maturation. After destemming and soft-crushing, pre-fermentative maceration took place for 4 days to add further complexity. The wine fermented at 26ºC with gentle pumping-over to preserve the fruit and extract the smooth tannins that provide vital balance |
