The Loboseiro is the face of an initiative that also went through the conversion of 45% of farms. This intervention allowed a qualitative increase in production for the Douro traditional grape varieties: Touriga-Nacional, Touriga-Franca, Tinta-Roriz, Malvasia Fina and Gouveio as well as on investment in emerging grape varieties in the Douro: Sousão and Viosinho.
The production of Loboseiro is limited by the need to control the quality objectives. Due to this fact was made the bet, not in massification, but in nichemarkets, particularly in restaurants and reference wine stores.
