Casa de Arrochella
With around 600ha spread over 5 farms, Casa de Arrochella is part of the new generation of D.O.C. Douro and olive oils D.O.P. Trás-os-Montes. Descendant and Successor of Nicolau de Arrochella Moraes and Castro Pimentel, 1st Count of Arrochela, Bernardo de Arrochela Alegria is the great promoter of this project of the Superior Douro, with more than 115 ha of vineyards, and which sought to unite the links and the history of the important Links of the House of Arrochella in the region of Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro to its passion and delivery to the Douro.
It is in the Upper Douro sub-region, between Vila Flor, Torre de Moncorvo and Foz Côa that the whole wine and olive production project is developed.
