Maturation: In terms of the make-up of this wine, 10% of the Encruzado varietal fermented and aged for around 6 months in 225 litre used French oak barrels. The remainder of the batch (90%) fermented and matured in stainless steel tanks. The blending of the oak-aged wine with its stainless steel counterpart instilled the final blend with great balance and imparted aromatic components of wood | Consumption temperature: 9-11º |

Tasting Notes - Palate: Excellent volume on the palate, balanced by an integrated and natural acidity. A balanced and gastronomic finish | Vintage / Winemaking: The Gouveio and Encruzado grape varieties were vinified separately. The grapes were unloaded from 20kg boxes and proceeded directly to destemming and soft-crushing. After being pressed, the must was subject to static decanting. The wines were subsequently transferred to stainless steel tanks. 10% of the Encruzado must fermented in used French oak barrels, while the rest remained in stainless steel tanks. The Gouveio fermented in stainless steel tanks. Fermentation took place at 18ºC for a period of around 20 days |
