Chryseia

Inspired by the Douro river - or ‘Rio d'Ouro’ - Chryseia means ‘golden’ in ancient Greek.

Powerful yet elegant and balanced with depth and great finesse, Chryseia represented and was recognised as a new style of Douro red wine.

Chryseia was the first Portuguese still wine to appear in Wine Spectator magazine's annual Top 100, and Chryseia 2011 reached third place on this list - the best ever placing for a Douro wine.
